Meme Generator is a free online tool on YouLoveTools that turns any image into a classic meme with bold white top and bottom text, thick black outline included. Type your lines, watch the preview update live, adjust the text size if you want, and download a meme that is ready to share. Unlike other meme sites, your image is never uploaded and there is no watermark stamped on your creation — the joke is yours, and so is the file.

How to Use
- Step 1: Click the upload box or drag your image onto it.
- Step 2: Type the top text — the setup of the joke.
- Step 3: Type the bottom text — the punchline. Text is automatically shown in bold capitals, the classic meme style.
- Step 4: Set the font size or leave it on Auto, then download your meme.
Why Use It
It is completely free, works on phones as easily as computers, and keeps your photos private because everything runs in your browser. No account, no app install, nothing to learn — type, preview, download, share.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is my text converted to capital letters?
A: Classic meme text is bold capitals with a black outline. This tool applies that style automatically so your meme looks right instantly.
Q: What if my text is too long?
A: On Auto the text shrinks to fit the width. For very long jokes, shorter lines hit harder — split the joke between top and bottom.
Q: Can I add text in the middle too?
A: This generator keeps the classic two-line style. For free placement, add your text with our Add Watermark tool instead.
Because the text is drawn onto your image at full resolution, the result stays sharp when you share it — no screenshot-of-a-screenshot quality loss.
Tip: The funniest memes use the fewest words. If your bottom line needs a comma and a second sentence, it is probably two memes.
